Eclipse Aviation Scoops 2005 Collier Trophy For Aeronautical Achievement

Eclipse Aviation, manufacturer of the the Eclipse 500 very light jet has won the US National Aeronautic Association (NAA) 2005 Collier Trophy. The prestigiuos award for aeronautical achievement has been presented by the NAA since 1911.

Citation Mustang Engine Approval Is Major Landmark For Very Light Jets

Pratt & Whitney Canada’s PW615F engine for Cessna’s Citation Mustang received Transport Canada type certification on 30 December 2005. It is the first of the company’s new generation of very-light jet (VLJ) engines to be certificated.
